This week we started to make handmade products that we will sell at our Christmas Fair for a social enterprise project. We aim to sell our handmade products and donate the profit we make to charities including Cancer Research and The Dogs Trust. We also want to support the local residents that live within our community.
To support our social enterprise project, we are doing a course with Future Learn and Middlesex University called Social Enterprise: Turning Ideas Into Action. We have tweeted some photos of our products this week and we were very pleased to discover that both Middlesex University and Future Learn retweeted and commented on our work.
So far this week we have made; bracelets, necklaces, stained glass windows, and money boxes.
As we are working towards a qualification with Future Learn and Middlesex University, for all our achievements so far this week, we were presented with certificates from our school.
